• We held our Annual General Meeting on the 29th of May, and welcomed several new members into the Committee. Also discussed was the Tri Uni Quiz night, a new debating competition, and planning for the upcoming Academic Breakfast.
• The Academic Breakfast itself was held on the 16th of June, and was a resounding success. Susanna Chan from GK APHQ came to give a talk to the academics, and our own Audrey Lim wowed them with information about our Chapter and the events we hold.
• The Writing competition was unveiled. This offered an opportunity for members of UniSA GK to have articles publised in the Globalist, on the topic of ”Are international responses to natural disasters sufficient?”. More information about this can be found on the Facebook Event Page

In the coming months, a number of events will be held, and the planning for these also occured during June.

• The Tri Uni Quiz night planning began, with Adelaide, Flinders and UniSA students banding together to create the best quiz yet. Tickets for this event will be sold in the near future, so get ready to use that general knowledge!
• A new event for this year, a Debating Competition, was unveiled. Open to all Tertiary students in South Australia, this promises prizes for those groups of students who can solidly put their point accross in a well mannered way. Enrollment is open till August the 1st, and you must be in a group of 3 to join! That’s about it for the month of June! Hope you all do well in your Exams, and get the grades you deserve. I better go and revise now too!

UniSA Golden Key Webmaster

As you might have seen from your Facebook page, we have been working hard lately to get our new website up and running in time for the AGM. Our previous website has worked well for the past few years, but the executive committee decided it was time for a change. We have updated to using a WordPress based system, which will make it easier to integrate with Facebook, and allow us to provide YOU, our members, with more services!

So stay tuned for the next few months, as we update the website and bring UniSA Golden Key into 2011 and onwards!
